As a specialist for classic BMW vehicles Since the 1990s, KK Automobile has serviced, repaired and converted a number of vehicles that are now considered classic vehicles. Not only the specialist knowledge of old BMWs, but also the decades-old inventory of original classic BMW and special parts (Alpina, Hartge, BMW M) and the technical possibilities of processing all components of a vehicle on site make us the top address for BMW classic car restorations.

The customer vehicle pictured here is a Alpina B6 2,8 Replica based on a BMW E21. It was completely disassembled and painted in a period-appropriate shade of Alpina blue. The bare body was previously repaired, stripped of paint in an acid bath and KTL coated. In addition to a complete engine overhaul, the transmission was also overhauled. Engine parts, the manifold and the exhaust system were ceramic coated. The exhaust system was reproduced 1:1 for this project and can be purchased from us. To ensure a flawless appearance, some of the engine peripherals were replaced with new parts.

The interior was also completely restored. We used original Alpina fabric to cover the seats. A new carpet was laid.

For the ideal drivability of the Alpina B6 2,8 An Intrax 1K2 chassis with 5-hole conversion was installed so that a large brake can be installed. The brake calipers were overhauled, discs and pads were replaced. Otherwise, all chassis control arms and chassis bearings were replaced. The differential was revised and fitted with a lock.

As a result, our customer received a first-class restored BMW classic with 0 kilometers on individual components.

  1. Good day,

The vehicle is very nicely done, the connoisseur will of course notice the small differences to the original.
I'm currently restoring a B6 2.8I e21 and have a question about the exhaust system.
Can you tell me where I can get these or have them made?
    MFG
    Tony
