High-strength aviation aluminum is used to manufacture the Tractive RD906. The gearbox weighs only 35 kilograms plus 1,3 liters of gear oil.
There are 13 different drop gears (17mm) available. The design of the sequential gearbox RD906 for BMW allows the drop gears to be easily replaced within minutes. This means that the vehicle can be individually adjusted or fine-tuned to the race track without much effort.
