Last weekend we were there with two BMW M3 E46 GTR and a BMW E46 WTC guest at the DMV-BMW Challenge in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The arrival and the training took place on Friday, May 08.05.2015th, XNUMX. The races followed Saturday and Sunday.
Overall, the weekend couldn't have gone better. During the first race on Sunday, our BMW E46 WTC suffered a small defect on the front bumper and had to go into the pits early shortly before the end. The vehicle was able to be repaired in the pits so that it was ready for racing again before the decisive race. After a little excitement among our racing colleagues, we gave our tires the correct name. This small optimization measure on Sunday certainly benefited the overall result.
Otherwise the technology held up and the team and drivers were successful. We took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place on the winners podium with the following results:
- M3 E46 KK GTR, driver Lars Harbeck, 1:36.742 min.
- E46 KK WTC, driver Sven-Maik Krüger, 1:36.963 min.
- M3 E46 KK GTR, drivers Silvia and Tobias Jeckle, 1:37.182 min.
