Many satisfied customers have been driving an INTRAX suspension for the Mercedes G-Class for years. Due to constantly increasing demand, INTRAX has now decided to modernize the shock absorbers and bring them up to current 2017 standards. Accordingly, we present the new one today Mercedes G-Class INTRAX 1K2 Black Titan ARC, which is manufactured in a small series and is therefore sold at an attractive price of only 3.558 EUR including 19% VAT.
State-of-the-art racing shock absorbers and softer suspension springs give the Mercedes G-Class pleasant driving comfort, the stability of a high-speed vehicle and excellent off-road properties.
INTRAX 1K2 equipped with all options
By using the revolutionary ARC (Anti Roll Control) is it possible to use soft feathers with all their advantages:
- More comfort
- More grip and traction
- Reduced tire wear
The usual disadvantages of a soft spring such as strong rolling movements and tilting are not present.
With the INTRAX 1K2, the Mercedes G-Class drives much more comfortably in the city and on uneven surfaces. The vehicle also drives safely at high speeds and stays in its lane stably, even if the motorway exit is driven a little more quickly.
Black titan is the ideal addition to the Mercedes G-Class chassis. A Black Titanium coating has the advantage that the shock absorber is very well protected against external influences (through normal use and off-road use). The Black Titanium coating is significantly harder than a conventional premium chrome coating.
The Black Titanium coating also reduces the generation of frictional heat (for example from off-road use). In combination with the thermostat, which is located in every INTRAX shock absorber, a permanently constant operating temperature is guaranteed - even under heavy use and regardless of outside temperatures.
Due to the fact that a Mercedes G-Class is often used off-road, the spindles were carefully protected to ensure a long service life for the INTRAX 1K2 chassis. Special housings were developed which sit above the spindles and end with the titanium-coated shock absorber. The housings are sealed with a gasket. This means that no dirt or moisture can penetrate.
INTRAX 1K2 Adjustable
Like other coilovers, the INTRAX 1K2 for Mercedes G-Class is height adjustable. The customer's special requests can be taken into account during production (special height). Furthermore, the Mercedes G-Class suspension is adjustable in rebound and compression. The adjustment is carried out as easily as usual using a button. When you turn the adjustment knob, the rebound and compression stages are regulated in the correct ratio.
Assembly and registration
We ship worldwide. Upon request, we will assemble the INTRAX 1K2 suspension for Mercedes G-Class in our specialist workshop. Registration is also possible via individual acceptance in our company.
