For track day vehicles, such as the E30 325i or M3 E30 we carry our tried and tested INTRAX 1K2 Racing suspension in the range. Each INTRAX chassis is manufactured individually to suit the vehicle (depending on weight, engine, rims and tires) and intended use.

The INTRAX 1K2 suspension for BMW E30 is based on the INTRAX RSA Landing gear. Both chassis can be easily accessed and uncomplicated using the adjustment button Rebound and compression be adjusted. This means that the chassis can be adapted to the relevant road surface in just a few simple steps.

Furthermore, INTRAX shock absorbers generally come with a Thermostat equipped that permanently regulates the operating temperature. This prevents excessive heat development during heavy use. The performance of the chassis and tires in competition is maintained for longer.

There is one in front 45mm upside-down shock absorber used in the 51mm E30 support leg (40mm for the INTRAX RSA). This achieves increased stability on the front axle. Handling and grip improve, the driver has a better and more direct feel for the vehicle.

It will be in the back INTRAX 1K2 chassis Manufactured with 46mm shock absorbers in lightweight construction, which are also mounted upside-down. The INTRAX RSA chassis comes with a 40mm steel shock absorber. The spring sits around the shock absorber, not separately between the axle swing arm and the body, as is installed in the factory on the E30.

The 46mm shock absorber gives the BMW E30 increased stability when cornering quickly or when driving over bumps, and the cooling in the shock absorber also works better.

Coilover options INTRAX 1K2

While dome bearings can be ordered optionally for the INTRAX RSA chassis, the INTRAX 1K2 and 4-way chassis are delivered ex works with front adjustable dome bearings. Dome bearings are available for the rear at an additional cost. Camber adjustment is possible with the front Uniball dome bearing. However, the use of camber bearings is only recommended for racing vehicles, as driving noise is caused by direct contact with the body in the interior. However, vehicle handling is further improved by our camber bearings. The E30 can be controlled more directly.

An INTRAX 1K2 chassis with Spring rate adjuster also allows the spring rate to be adjusted. Depending on the intended use, the spring can be set harder or softer.

The additional option is recommended for E30s that are used intensively in motorsports Black Titanium. A special titanium coating reduces the development of frictional heat. This has an impact on the chassis being able to be used for a longer period of time.

ARC (Antiroll Control) is the name of the latest innovation from INTRAX and should not be missing from any racing vehicle. The ARC option reduces unwanted rolling movements when cornering quickly or on uneven roads. Faster lap times are the result.
