Shortly after the publication of the BMW M2 F87 We presented our trackday version in Long Beach Blue at the Essen Motorshow in December 2016. Our lightweight components, Intrax racing chassis, NTM rims in the Pista III and FM versions as well as our racing cooler package have since made many series vehicles go fast track tool made. Over the last few years we have been able to expand and perfect our range of racing parts, so that this year we are competing with our GTR racing car, which has been developed to the highest technical standards and is based on an F87.
A series-based racing car
Unlike in M4 KK GTR The M2 KK GTR was supposed to be based on a production car. This means that the conversion into a racing car can be accomplished with less effort. Many parts from our F82 racing car range could be adapted for this project. The development of the GTR body kit suitable for the F87 was particularly complex and time-consuming. The work was worth it - because with the widening of 6 cm on the front axle and 10 cm on the rear axle, 10,5×18 or 10,5×19 rims at the front and 11.5×18 or 11,5×19 rims can now be used be mounted at the rear.
Heavy series parts are exchanged for light carbon parts
Based on the design of the GTR body kit suitable for the F82, the dress made of carbon parts also suits the F87 very well. Our GTR body kit consists of: front bumper, left/right fender, left/right side skirts, left/right rear side panels and rear bumper. An underfloor front splitter and a rear diffuser are available as options.
To complete the lightweight construction concept, we also offer the following parts: GTR hood, carbon doors and mirrors, carbon roof, DTM style tailgate and racing rear wing.

Make optimal use of the potential of the N55 series engine
Unlike the M4 GTR, which we mainly equipped with our tried and tested S54 racing engine as a 3,2/3,5/3,7l version, we use the potential of the N2 series engine in the 55 Series GTR racing car.
Optimized with downpipes, HJS racing catalytic converters, our individual Tubi style racing exhaust system and our N55 software, the engine will take us steadily through the 2019 racing season. Our racing coolers and our differential oil cooling ensure sufficient cooling. To reduce the movement of the N55 engine, we have developed stiffening bearings.
In order to use the racing car on long distances, we have developed a 120l tank system.
More racing parts
When it comes to the chassis, the racing car leaves nothing to be desired! To replace the series parts, we have developed front and rear GTR axles made of high-strength materials from aircraft construction. The differential has received our 75% racing ban.
There is no way for us to achieve the best possible lap times Intrax racing suspension over. For our M2 GTR we chose the Intrax 4-Way XL with the options Black Titanium and Anti Roll Control.
We have designed our own pots and holders for the AP Racing Pro 5000 Radical brake calipers, which fit the production car and our racing car perfectly. As NTM racing rims As an exclusive sales partner, the choice of rims is clear.
As usual, a Wiechers weld-in cell ensures safety. A quick-lifting system allows wheels to be changed quickly. Switching is done using the paddle shifters on the racing steering wheel. The most important functions are also operated at the push of a button.

M2 KK GTR together with other KK vehicles at the DMV BMW Challenge 2019
In recent years we have worked with many customer vehicles DMV BMW Challenge took part. Marco Hürbin has a perfect start to the season with him M3 E46 KK GTR laid down. From races 3 and 4, Harald Tänzler will also be involved with his M3 E46 KK GTR and we will be involved with our M2 KK GTR.
We are looking forward to a challenging and interesting racing season in 2019.
