The Bavarian engineers have given the F82 a lot of potential for the racetrack. It was clear to us that we would invest the experience of the last three decades in this vehicle to make it a very well-functioning one GTR version to develop at a high level.
In spring 2015 we have various club sports components such as GTR hood, DTM style tailgate, club sport rear wing, racing radiator kit etc. developed for our F82 to improve the production vehicle for fast lap times on the racetrack.
After more than two years of development, it will be ready for the first rollout, the BMW M2017 GTR, in summer 4. The thoroughbred racing vehicle was built entirely on a motorsport bodyshell. It will be in about two weeks F82 bodyshell converted to GTR status, excess material is removed.
Dozens of special parts were developed especially for this vehicle and made from the highest quality materials to ensure the best possible durability even under the most extreme loads, such as in the 24-hour race.

Racing vehicle can be ordered individually
Customers who order a new GTR racing car based on the F82 from us can get it in different versions. Or we can optionally deliver the ready-to-use racing vehicle for the relevant class with the appropriate engine (e.g. SP6 or SP7).
The vehicle is available with the following engine variants:
- S54 engine – 3,2l 3,5l 3,7l
- S65 engine – 4,0l 4,4l 4,8l
- S63 engine
- S55 engine
The corresponding cooling requirements of the different engines were taken into account in the vehicle design.
In addition to an aerodynamically sophisticated body kit and other components such as the hood, roof, tailgate, diffuser and rear wing, we also have other components F82 GTR improved. For example, we made GTR axles out of high-strength aluminum, stabilized the differential suspension, and created a modern one Central locking developed and designed extremely powerful radiator packages for the respective engines in the BMW M4 GTR.
When building our racing vehicles, we only rely on the best components, such as AP racing brakes, sequential tractive transmissions, racing suspension from our development partner INTRAX Racing, NTM Wheels racing rims, Motec, PDM control, paddleshift steering wheel, etc.
