The project was privately funded with enormous effort and a budget of several hundred thousand euros. Despite its complete construction, the vehicle ultimately never saw racing action, as the 2.0-liter class of the VLN was later discontinued. BMW E46 racing carOnce completed, it was never used in racing and is therefore almost in mint condition – the entire system only ran for approximately 500 km on the test bench. With a vehicle weight of just 1.080 kg and proven technology, the E46 has real potential for podium finishes.
