Very well-maintained special model in extremely good general condition
Special models in particular are very popular with collectors. Do you already know the story of the only BMW M3 Sport Evo, which was delivered in Mauritius blue?
Here we present the blue one delivered in Macao BMW M3 E30 Cecotto 265/505 in excellent general condition. The vehicle is an excellent example of what a collector's vehicle should look like in its original, unrestored condition. Accident-free with a clear history, traceable back to the first owner. The features of the BMW M3 Cecotto are all present, such as the front spoiler, lightweight tailgate with additional rear spoiler, 16″ rims or footrest.
If you take a closer look at this BMW M3 E30, you can see the very good condition. There is no visible rust in the known weak points, license plate lights or in the area of the jack mounts. Only the cowl, which was affected by rust, was replaced by a new part by the previous owner. The process was accompanied by the TÜV and documented in the vehicle documents. Due to the low mileage of only 84.449 km There is only minor wear on the seats, pedals, steering wheel and gear lever. Despite the good condition, the following parts, for example, were replaced with new parts: tank, steering gear, chassis bearings, wishbones, 16″ aluminum rims (factory new rims were mounted on new tires in 2024 and exchanged for a BBS RS wheelset). The rear axle was also completely overhauled, the brakes were completely overhauled including drive shafts, sleeves and hoses. A video of the underbody shows the condition. For a nicer look, a KW coilover kit was installed. But there are still a few new pillars to the car, so that M3 E30 Cecotto can be restored to the delivery status.
A few years ago, the original 158 kW (215 hp) Cecotto engine was completely overhauled (cylinders were refinished, pistons replaced - complete parts list in the form of purchase receipts is available) and has hardly been used since then. As part of the overhaul, all hoses and the muffler were replaced.
A full acceptance test in accordance with Section 29 StVZO by DEKRA took place in April 2024. As a result, no defects were identified.
